Part of Crushed Ice Group

Business softwarethat fits the business.

Two decades of building bespoke systems at Crushed Ice taught us what off-the-shelf software keeps getting wrong. CubeERP runs the operation, CubeCRM wins and keeps the customers, CubeHR looks after the people and CubeMSP runs the service provider. Each has a clear job and a support line answered by the people who built it.

Four platforms

Software with a clear job to do

CubeERP runs the operation, CubeCRM looks after sales and service, CubeHR looks after the people and CubeMSP gives managed service providers one view of clients and delivery. Buy any of them on their own. CubeERP and CubeCRM are implemented with you by our team. CubeHR and CubeMSP are set up online, with an Enterprise option for assisted set-up or a dedicated environment.

Why we built it

It is not a startup guessing at what a warehouse needs. It is twenty years of being told, in detail, by people standing in one.

2003Now
Crushed Ice starts building bespoke systemsCube Systems

Crushed Ice has been writing bespoke business software since 2003. Different industries, different sizes, wildly different opinions about how a purchase order should work - and underneath, the same requirements appearing again and again.

Most businesses do not need a system built from nothing. They need a solid one that can be shaped, on an API open enough that the unusual parts can still be built properly. That is what Cube Systems is.

More about how we work

How it is built

Six things we decided at the start

These are the decisions that are expensive to change later, so we made them deliberately and we do not quietly reverse them for a bigger deal.

  • Shared where it helps

CubeERP and CubeHR share a single view of your people, sites and structure, and CubeCRM shares its customer records with CubeERP. CubeMSP and the smaller apps stay focused on their own jobs, with no forced suite.

  • Open by default

Every module exposes a documented REST API and webhooks. If you need the data somewhere else, you can have it.

  • Security is not an upsell

Role-based access, granular permissions, full audit trails and UK hosting on AWS are in the base product. They are not reserved for enterprise deals.

  • Bespoke where it matters

When part of your process is unusual, Crushed Ice sits in the same group and can build it against a documented API, rather than reverse-engineering somebody else’s database.

  • We say so if it is not a fit

If the platform is not the right fit we will tell you during the demo, before any implementation starts. It costs us the sale and saves you the write-off.

  • Built to be maintained

Software you buy once and run for a decade needs to be maintainable. Everything is versioned, migrated and documented as a matter of course.

Where to start

Find the bit that is currently hurting

Most people arrive with one specific problem rather than a plan to replace everything. Start there - the rest can follow when you are ready.

What happens next

Implementation, without the mystery

CubeERP and CubeCRM are implemented in five stages, all covered by the setup on every package, and you will know who is doing each one. CubeHR and CubeMSP are set up online, so they skip these stages.

  1. Discovery

A structured session mapping how you work now - the systems, the spreadsheets and the bits held together by one person’s memory. We come back with what the platform covers as standard, what needs configuration, and what needs building.

  2. Configuration

Your structure, sites, roles, approval chains, document templates and permissions set up to match the business - not a demo tenant with your logo dropped on it.

  3. Data migration

Existing records brought across and reconciled: customers, stock, bills of materials, employees, holiday balances, contracts. We migrate, you check, then we cut over.

  4. Training & rollout

Role-based training so people learn the parts they actually use, with a pilot team first where it makes sense. Documentation and short screen recordings left behind for new starters.

  5. Ongoing support

UK support from the people who built the platform, with a named contact, agreed response times, and a product roadmap you can influence.

Where we work

On site, in person

We work in person across the UK from our base in Olney, Buckinghamshire. These are some of the areas we regularly cover. If you’re not listed, we’ll still come to you.

Remote support is fine for a password reset; it is a poor way to learn how a warehouse actually runs.

Talk to us

Tell us what is actually broken

No scripted demo and no hoops to jump through before you speak to someone technical. Describe the problem and we will tell you whether we can fix it, what it would take, and whether we are the right people for it.
